Hello, all! In celebration of Half-Life's 25th anniversary I've decided to pop outta the woodwork and upload a mod pack I assembled for myself and my friends a while ago.
In which I may release patches for this mod in the future! Depends on if I decide to keep working on it.

What is Half-Life: Lite?
As per the summary, it is a very small, lightweight vanilla enhancement mod meant to make the mainline games flow better together. As well as fix longstanding map-related bugs.
Why not just use the HD models?
Because I've always felt that the "low-definition" models looked more in-line with the "blocky" nature of the maps themselves. It's much easier to work with the game's dated graphics/artstyle rather than against it.
What games/mods are included?
Only the three mainline games (Half-Life, Opposing Force and Blue Shift) are included. I have no plans to include third-party mods at this time. And a low-definition overhaul mod for Decay already exists. That being said, I may do a pass on Decay and see about adding my own adjustments. We'll see!
Hasn't this been done before?
Correct! Vanilla improvement mods are almost a dime-a-dozen nowadays. With great ones in development such as Half-Life: Extended and the like. My overall design goal with HL:L is to keep the base game in-tact as much as possible while improving what is there in a non-invasive way to the overall Half-Life experience.

Installation Instructions:
Extract all three of the folders into your main Half-Life directory.
Once in-game, go into Options, Content and then enable "Allow custom addon content" before hitting apply. Make sure to also enable "Enable original models" as well.
This should enable the addon across all three games, so you only have to do this once. If not, repeat process for other two expansions.
Changelog:
BUGFIX - 1.1.1: Cleansuit scientists no longer use HDified faces.
1.1 - HL: Cleansuit scientists and Otis now make some cameo appearances in We've Got Hostiles, Questionable Ethics, Forget About Freeman and Lambda Core. More will be added later.

HL: Barney will now open the gate for you at the beginning of On A Rail.
ALL: Female Assassins resemble their male counterparts.
HL: Replaced the vanilla laser dot with Gearbox version.
BS: Blue Shift's crosshair is now blue.
BS: Blue Shift's vest and helmet are no longer always-HD.
OP4: Fixed inconsistent NPCs in Opposing Force's intro.
OP4: Fixed monsters attacking random syringe in the chapter Vicarious Reality.
OP4: Added worn out scis to Opposing Force. Holographic sci has his own model.
HL: Gave the headcrab-killing file cabinent a consistent model to match all of the others.
HL: Updated Alien Grunt crowd sprite.
HL: Updated the shotgun held by the scientist at the end of Lambda Core.
ALL: Added improved MP5 model to better resemble its world model.
ALL: Barney's gunshots now match that of the player.
ALL: Barney's pistol is now a proper glock model.
ALL: Glock world model looks more like the viewmodel.

Nice! Will be keeping an eye on this, since Valve made the classic models the default option. Plus keeping any of my installed HD packs updated is such a dang hassle.

You're in luck! I plan on doing that next major update.
The apache and osprey models are great improvements and I really like the darker texture you gave to the worldmodel for the glock. I think it could potentially fit as both an alternative model for third person view and NPCs that use the glock like the asssassins, barneys and medics. One small error I noticed is that the Cleansuit Scientist model included for the cameos is the HD version rather than the LD, hopefully that'll be easy to fix.
I do recommend giving Some NPC's Fixed and Civil Models with Variation by Brusstrigger a look as well as Security Guard Shoe Textures Fixed by XRGM1267 - X-RED as those include some nice improvements that could be used as inspiration for this pack if credit goes to them.

I appreciate the feedback and suggestions. Good catch on the cleansuits, as well, I actually didn't notice that until now.
A proper glock worldmodel is on my todo list for a future update. And I'll be sure to check out those mods you listed, too.
Late EDIT: Cleansuits are now fixed.
