Post-Apocalyptic sandbox RPG. You awaken far in the future to a world on the verge of extinction. You must rescue civilians and stop the decay that threatens to destroy the world. This game features building, crafting, exploration and an RPG leveling system. There are cool features such as an advanced wiring system, interactive objects with menus and scripted events. I am aiming to add features such as town building, vehicles and multiple dimensions after the first leg of the game is implemented. Multiplayer is mostly implemented but still needs a lot of work.
I've made a lot of progress on my first boss creature. You will face a large sewer mutant that summons tentacles and shoots blobs at you.
I was able to program the boss's movements using a script in the XML file that loads code on startup. My program deciphers the parts of the functions from the text and uses reflection in C# to run things from inside the program. Here I am able to set the position of my boss and have it summon tentacles in certain points on the pre-made building.
