We have added a prototype enemy AI (with partially implemented player targeting and flee mechanic), we have also added a rough pre-synth mix of a potential 'Gang Beasts' theme (made by Boneloaf member Robert Larder), a proxy for a physically larger boss character, some test buildings (with doors and windows), and gangs.
The video shows two player gameplay (player 1 is red and player 2 is yellow) in a protracted fight with ten gang members (the green characters) and a boss (the big character who is brutally defeated at the end).
We plan to add more varied gameplay in later builds, for example if you inflict sufficient damage on a boss characters stomach he or she could double over allowing a player (or players) to grab a the boss characters head and pull them to the floor making it easier to inflict damage.
