75's Final Fantasy 7 Music & Sound Mod addon - Freelancer Game

75's Sound and Final Fantasy 7 Freelancer Music Mod

Originally made for the Discovery Dark Star Syndicate [DSS] clan based at Leeds Bretoniabut since I have stopped playing freelancer, I thought I might as well release the work on this that had already been done.

This mod works on anything that freelancer works with, to install simply place the .rar files
inside their corrosponding folders and extract overrighting the existing files.

Music is from Final Fantasy 7 and belongs to SquareEnix & Nobuo Uematsu.

all tracks were cut and loop seemlessly when playing, makes a very nice change from the boring
Freelancer music.

Since I quit freelancer before I finished making this there is a chance it might never be finished

I will decide whether to finish it based on feeback given, if any. next version would include music for the dustclouds, ice fields, lava asteriods, Debris Fields etc, of course using suitable music from ff7

Addon Test

packjust a little test i did using the Metroid Prime 1 and 2 OST's,
music cut and loops perfectly with no gaps or glitches

Sounds

the sfx were ripped from various games films and other sources most of which i have forgotten
specifically made for the discovery Mod servers, however it works just as well on any mod that
still uses the origianl sound and music filenames.

I made this alone without help so appologies for its incomplete state.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

to install this mod, place the dowloaded .rar into the freelancer AUDIO folder and extract,
several smaller .rar folders will apear,place these into there corrosponding folders, UI.rar into the UI folder etc. extract them inside each of their corrosponding folders and overrite the existing files.

remember this is all inside the "AUDIO" root folder in your freelancer installation folder.

start the game and viola!

PS: I cant remember where the music goes because I dont have it installed, but its inside that "AUDIO" folder,  have a route around and when you find them, overrite them with the ones in the music.rar file
