INSTALLATION NOTES:

There are several ways to install, just follow one of the following solutions.
For best compatability with other mods, please use solution No.3 or No.4!

Installation Procedure No.1:
- Execute installer.exe and follow the instructions.
- Done!

Installation Procedure No.2:
- Unpack all files in the EXE folder to your Freelancer\EXE directory (dacom.ini will get replaced)
- Done!

Installation Procedure No.3:
- Use the included flmm_installer.zip.flmod with the FL Mod Manager to install the Workaround.
- Activate the Workaround _after_ any other mod for best compatability.
- Done!

Installation Procedure No.4:
- For best mod compatability, install/activate any other mod first. Then proceed:
- Manually copy all the files in the EXE folder, except dacom.ini, to your Freelancer\EXE directory.
- open dacom.ini and add the following lines to the end of the [Libraries] section:
libcurl.dll
gls_workaround.dll
- Done!

You should now be able to get a serverlist, both in LAN and INTERNET server listing tabs.
To get instructions on how to add your own server, please read the notes for server admins at the bottom of this readme.

GENERAL NOTES:

This Workaround downloads serverips from a specific URL on every Freelancer start.
To get a fresh server list, you need to restart Freelancer.

Also, this Workaround patches Freelancer.exe to query an alternative global list server.
For compatability reasons with other mods, this Workaround overwrites the hostname address setting in the memory.
Changes to the listserver hostname entry in freelancer.ini will therefore be ignored.

Both, the Global List Server hostname and the serverlist URL can be changed in gls_workaround.ini, which is located in
the Freelancer/EXE folder.

This workaround will not work if Freelancer.exe has been renamed to any other name!

You can also manually add your server to the serverlist on Stats.freelancerserver.de
