Fractured State is an urban combat real time strategy game that takes place in the pseudo diesel/steam punk decay of the nation of Laperia. It features simultaneous interior and exterior combat to power building-to-building fights, cover and flanking, and weapon accuracy modelling and reloading.

This week we have an early Industrial faction bank model

You know what I like? I think you can guess. Yup. Buildings.

You know what I don’t like? When stuff gets in the way of my other stuff. Normally we try to make updates on Friday and Saturday. Here I am being extra late and posting on Sunday. I blame the holiday. Yea. That’s it. The holiday made me do it.

This week I have another early building model, this time for an Industrial bank. I am setting up the block-in, getting proportions right. After that I can break it into anything that can be made a modular chunk. So I can make bank-building blocks. Like legos.

Because of where we are in the process of making our game, texturing things is a very inefficient use of Todd’s or my time. So until We get around to nailing down a consistent system for textures, I am going to have to just give you These default material renders. They still look cool.

You know the drill – way early stage, subject to change. Not to mention its still missing a ton of little pieces.
