Simply copy all files from Complx.zip into your Duke
Nukem 3d directory (after unzipping). Then type "Complex"
to play. This will bring you to Duke3d Setup, from which
you can play single or multiplayer games. To play a single
player game, hit "Save settings and launch Duke Nukem 3d".
Select "NEW GAME", then "COMPLEX", then any
difficulty setting (doesn't matter). To play a multiplayer
game, do the same things as you would normally do and play
the first 3 levels of the first episode. THIS WILL NOT
PERMANENTLY CHANGE ANY PART OF YOUR COPY OF DUKE NUKEM 3D.
If, for some reason, you are playing COMPLEX and the
program is terminated before it completes itself, certain
changes will not be made to reset DN3D back to how it was
before play began. If this happens, the simple solution is
to just run COMPLEX again and make sure that it entirely
finishes.

LEVEL DATA:
COMPLEX is made of four maps, Cplxa.map, Cplxb.map,
Cplxc.map and Cplxd.map.
You must have the Plutonium Pak/Atomic Edition to play.
OTHER FILES ASSOCIATED WITH COMPLEX:
User.jmw
Evac.wav (Thanks, Mom)
Complex.txt
Thanks.txt
Complex.bat
Multicom.bat
Cplxa.mid (Thanks, me)
Cplxb.mid (Thanks, Anonymous)
Cplxc.mid (Thanks, me)
MISSION:
Another alien attack on Earth... this time the aliens took
over a small moon base and are sending troops via tele-
porters to Los Angeles. The teleporters are being run from
a U.S. military establishment on a small, rocky island in
the Pacific. Duke is sent there alone (his preference), to
find the teleporters and get to the moon base. The trouble
is, the moon base is probably locked up. The commander of
the base has the only key card - he was murdered in his
Embassy Suites hotel room in L.A.. Duke will probably have to
reteieve it. If and when he reaches the self destruct center
at the base, he will have only a few moments to escape.
There is an escape route already defined (leading to the
docking bay). It will be opened after the base's self
destruct mode has been initiated. Good luck...
MULTIPLAYER STATS:
Single: That's what it was made for!
Co-op: Good idea, but some players might miss some cool FX.
Recommended that you play alone once to see every-
thing.
Dukematch: It would suck unless you had a lot of people
playing, or if you sectioned off a part to only
be in.
DIFFICULTY SETTINGS:
Not Implimented (in other words: I was too lazy).
KNOWN BUGS:
Very, very, very uncommon. Just don't purposely screw
around with it.
BUILD TIME:
You don't want to know.
COPYRIGHTS/PERMISSIONS:
You may do whatever the hell you want with this as long as
you do not publicize any MODIFIED versions of this under
the name "COMPLEX". I ask this because if two people have
"COMPLEX" and they want to play a multiplayer game, but
one has a modified version, it won't run. Please DO pass
on the origional version of "COMPLEX" to your friends (and
enemies). Also, you must include the origional author's
name (Jeremy Wilson alias "Forklift") with "COMPLEX" if
distributed.
Special thanks to:
Bonnie Wilson, For recording "evac.voc"
Aaron Wilson, For adding monsters and weapons and play-testing.
Stefan Bishay, For telling me how to program some stuff,
play-testing and distributng.
You, For playing COMPLEX and (hopefully) distributing it.
Editor Used: BUILD (what else?)
Base: New level from Scratch.
