Description

Felony Rework is a total police overhaul for Driver: San Francisco, that brings much content to the table. From big systems built from scratch, such as crime systems, to roadblocks, entirely new missions and mini-games, right down to the nitty gritty like AI tweaks, or various quality of life adjustments, even bug fixes to the base game, there's a lot going on.

Hi,

I attempted to merge Klancnik's mod a while back with this but frankly I've never properly tested just how well that works (2019 feels like more than just three years ago).

While I'm still on a bit of a DSF hiatus I'll see about testing/fixing that up for the next version, but it's a bit more of a sideshow for this mod.

hi, I recently downloaded felony rework together with the stimulus package and suddenly the buggy capture event stopped working for me, I created backups of the specified files and everything works except for the buggy capture event, please check and fix it, thank you in advance

Not sure which event you mean, can you specify? I would also suggest verifying game integrity thru UbiConnect to make sure no unmodded files are left that could still affect.

event for which they give a buggy (y.a.r.e) as a reward and you need to catch it. On chapter 4, it is this event that is endlessly loading, maybe it is looking for this file and this, although I made backup copies of the files and it didn’t even work with them, but I played survival on the Dodge Challenger :)

So, while I can't speak for the current available version (I haven't tested on that), the new build that's currently work-in-progress (hopefully coming out soon), does not have the issue you mentioned.

I did a lot of work to try and resolve spooling issues specifically, so that all the vehicles may load. Sometimes when they could not, it would result in soft locks during loading or Tanner challengers replacing mission, or cutscene vehicles.

Most if not all of these should be resolved for the coming update!

Thanks bro sorry but that was when I was testing an old version of felony rework namely v. 7, so I made a fuss in vain, by the way, about the fact that Tanner's cars appear in the cutscenes, I think this can be left, because it's hard to fix and it's more like a coma in which Tanner is

Dont worry, it's not in vain at all cos it was in later versions as well, to varying degrees.

A lot of work has been done under the hood to resolve spooling issues (even fixed a bugged cutscene in vanilla game :'D). Overall, should be a lot better come next version.

Loved the mod, only thing is that the mod's scriptsluascrips.fchunk gets replaced and disables deluxe edition and uplay content. Would love to see both the mod and these contents working since I'm replaying the game. Other than that, great mod.

The specified chunk alone has nothing to do with the unlocks as far as I'm aware. You can use Alcatraz these days to get all the rewards unlocked, as well.

Just a note that this mod makes the Mass Chase challenge unwinnable! The game sprays so many cop cars at you that it is just impossible to complete.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. It was kind of a neglected challenge as focus was shifted to other things over time, but I did some small tweaks to it for the just released update. It should still be more challenging than the vanilla game, but the cop spawn time was increased from previous values.

bro I played for a couple of minutes and then I personally have a couple of problems: 1)The game began to lag very often; 2) during the chase, the interface becomes transparent, where the number of police cars and the time to lag are displayed; 3) when you turn on the first-person camera on a police car, then this camera turns off the entire interface from the helicopter, and when you return to the third-person camera, the characteristics of the car are displayed there from the side; 4) the reflections seem to have become too strong the light from the glass buildings is blinding; 5) for some reason, the full screen has disappeared; 6) when you want to switch to your partner with the C button, the floor under your feet disappears and the game crashes again. I don't want to complain because it's a difficult job, I just wanted to say it

Oh thanks, but I've already corrected. On the RaiYou stream, I saw that I had not installed the DriverNgHook file where it was needed. The mod turned out awesome, especially a nightmare, this is a new activity besides the chase.

I'm glad to hear it! I would still recommend, if you run into issues later, to contact me or others through the Discord as well. Log files give us a lot of insight as to what may be going on sometimes, screenshares, etc. :)

I may also just add this as general PSA as the effect is more immediate than here.

Hello! I was very excited to try your mod out on one of my favorite games of all time, but sadly I'm having an issue with it. I get these constant stutters that happen I'd say every two seconds, especially in cutscenes for some reason. But even in free drive it does it sometimes, even worse when I drive some distance I get freezes that last around half a second, more often when I'm moving the camera around. I reinstalled twice, checked if I had all the files, installed the hook before the mod both times... Any idea why this happens? It's seriously irritating. Running version 1.04 of the game

Hey! I'm fairly certain I know what the issue is - it was a bit of leftover code that causes slow downs, but it's been fixed already, just not yet released. I was hoping to catch some more issues before I deploy it. It should end after you complete the first tutorial chase, or thereabout.

Hi! The game already plays various cop radio sfx in a felony.

If you mean something more detailed than that, the answer is going to have to be no as there are no good method to playback custom audio, and it would require an extensive system to accommodate it, if it did exist.

This is a cool mod! I wish you could make it so that custom cars can chase you like in the classic chase mission where the civ crown vic is acting like a police car and chases you.
