It's a small adventure game based on the events of the movie "The Day Of The Doctor" for the 50th Anniversary of the franchise. In the art style of Superbrothers.
We are two french artists working on the game : Immudelki & Vicoline  I (Immudelki) am more skilled into coding, whereas Vicoline is more on Music. We both make the game design, dialogs, art and animation.

The game is made of minigames, qte, puzzles and dialogs sequences with multiple choices. It's clearly a little game though.
It's based on several scenes that appears in the film, in chronological order. It also contains original dialogs, giving a new perspective on the story (more on a humor vibe), and a few original scenes that never happen but we found interesting to add or to modify. The game being a development of some gaps in the story.
We are working on a short delay not to interfere to much with our studies and we're working on Adobe Flash Pro.

Alpha version released :

Hope you will enjoy it Wink

After that release, we will be looking forward for the feedbacks, take rest, learn what were our mistakes and our achievements, and try to continue the game as much as we can, depending on how our studies are going.

You can expect better audio tracks of course, more gamescenes also, and on the art style, less blurry things on pixellated stuff =)

There will be better consequences to your dialogues choices, seems it's something that bother people ;) we're not sure we can go out of the movie tracks alot without loosing the player, but it seems that's why a game is made for. Also better introduced mini games. Sometimes, people simply didn't understand what to do, whereas we've been trough a tester. So more things to come also on that part ;)

Since that, on a personal level, I've always been keen to reject video games adaptation of movies, I have to understand more why It doesn't work most of the time. And as far as I remember when I write that, it was because the game follows the movie without taking liberties. So it's what we will try to do.
Still not moving on the translation part though, because we need the final game before.

I AM a big fan of Doctor Who, and this looks awesome. :P I really like the art style which reminds me of Kings Quest and Space Quest, though I'm curious how you are managing this pixel style in Flash.

Will you be doing sweet midi music too? Oh I do hope so!

Mmh, nothing particular about pixel management in flash, it's only background and assets made on photoshop at a very low resolution, and imported on a larger canvas without smoothing in Flash. I do not use flixel by the way. No time to learn it sadly :/ And yep, it's planned that we get a 8/16bit music style in it ;)
