Despicaville is a 2D sandbox game about a small town that starts to get turned upside-down by a serial killer.
The civilians of Despicaville go about their daily lives, satisfying their needs (hunger, thirst, rest, etc) and attending their jobs in a simulated living-economy with intelligent AI. Your role in Despicaville can be that of a normal civilian, a police officer trying to catch the serial killer, or even as the serial killer itself. Every civilian of Despicaville is capable of committing a variety of crimes or reporting one they've witnessed (should they live to do so) to the local authorities... who will actively hunt down the criminals matching the descriptions they receive.
Will you be the hunted? The hunter? Or a lowly clerk in a convenience store trying to survive with a serial killer on the loose?
