DDF is a side scrolling shooter. The game is currently going over major engine reconstruction and now uses DirectX9 powered effects requiring pixel shader 2.0., among some new features it will get a hardpoint crafting system and i am open to any suggestions, just post a comment and ill reply.

DDF is now changing onto the Scirra's Construct game engine, meaning itll be packed full of awesome graphics using pixel shader 2.0 and your graphics card to speed things up. also the game engine is being totally remade, since the old one was based off an 18 yr old program
i will be adding MANY things to this engine and if you want a feature nows the time to ask, just write it in your comment.
among some of the new features i will be adding
a Hard point crafting system
all new graphical and lens effects using DirectX9
new ai
new effects
and that good ol fasion shmup action.
Ill soon be posting a small video showing off Laser Hawks newly remade movement and weapons.
alot is still to be done so nothings final yet.

i dont know if i can deliver that now, because I HAVE CHANGED ENGINE YET AGAIN!!!111one
im now gonna use the Construct game engine, which means im remaking the game engine completely, this time with directX9 shaders and graphics on all the sprites and effects, which means itll look awesome, but youll need pixelshader 2.0 for the higher end graphics to show up, (most of the effects.) Ill also make a non pixelshader 2.0 version for thos of you without PS 2.0

btw, i dont use Starcraft music, its from alot of different supernintendo games
i did use some starcraft sounds and im using the voicework from Starcraft and some command and conquer games
sounds came from alot of different sources, mosty Worms, starcraft, or command and conquer
cant wait to play this
The game looks pretty cool (Loved R-Type) but the logo is a real turn-off, because of the Powerpoint gradient. ;(
ill remove that when i get working on the game again
