DDF is a side scrolling shooter. The game is currently going over major engine reconstruction and now uses DirectX9 powered effects requiring pixel shader 2.0., among some new features it will get a hardpoint crafting system and i am open to any suggestions, just post a comment and ill reply.

Description

well i havnt updated anything in like forever, so heres a video demonstrating some of the things ive done in the latest build, trust me alot has changed, ive upgraded from 18 yr old KnP engine to the new MMF2 engine, which means faster running speeds, better effects and better quality. this video isnt showing anything finished, alot more than what your seeing will be added, but dont expect a new demo till august 5th or later, no set dates yet. I still have LOTS of artwork to do. and alot of code structure has to be redesigned in order to get my game working properly, cause this video shows alot of problems
i added
-additive glow effects
-new dials for the rattler ship
-processed flame for the ion jets and minigun overdrive
-new explosions on everything (there will be better quality ones later on but these are fine for now)
-new bullets for the minigun ship
-new "womp" bombs
-and some other stuff that you dont see like, the boss doesnt lag anymore when the music starts.

Note that the mines Ocer ship and the ocer ring will surely be changed for better fitting sprites. cause well the originals suck.
