Adding Dawn of War II's soundtrack to Dawn of War I.

I'm working on a standalone patch, or an addon to the next release of the Combiner Mod, that allows for the soundtrack of Dawn of War 2 to be played alongisde that of the original Dawn of War 1 and its mods.

The original soundtrack of DoW2 vanilla was released for free some years ago and can still be downloaded here: Fileplanet.com
Although the complete soundtrack encompassing the game's expansions is now being sold from various online stores.

The soundtrack can also be extracted directly from the game's files. Some dudes did that, converted it in mp3 format and put it up for download:

Now, I've already managed to make this work on my PC, but what I'm trying to accomplish is to provide an easy - or possibly, automated - way to take the mp3 files downloaded from the above sites, convert them in DoW1's format, place them in DoW1's music folder, and have the game play them besides the original music tracks. I don't know how difficult it's going to be yet. Also, I'm pretty sure I cannot put the music files directly in any mod or downloadable package.

Anyway, what do you guys think? I know most people prefer DoW1's music, but I think at least some tracks from DoW2 are just awesome. My favourites are "No Mercy, No Respite" (Youtube.com) and "The Great Devourer" (Youtube.com).
