Tell Valve you want it on Steam and it might show up. Otherwise they have no interest at this time.

Meh, I don't find 10 dollars to be all that much, looks like a quality game to me, just because it's using an older engine does not necessarily make it a worse game.
Seems to be a game where a lot of time and effort has gone into it.

The Q3 engine has made plenty of single as well as multiplayer games, so do not bash the engine because you probably don't know what you're talking about.

Trying the demo now, $10 is an amazing price for this piece of work :]

I encountered a huge problem with the demo right from the start: clicking on Controls under the options menu crashes the game.

The demo seems playable enough, but I wasn't able to get very far in the first level after going through the portal because the timed door sequences are very unforgiving. I barely made it past the first timed door only to keep falling into the lava pit trying to hit the second button and promptly quit out of frustration.

I forgot to mention it's impossible to climb up ladders when you have the purple crystal equipped. Was this intentional?

My biggest problem with the demo is that it's simply too hard. Why was saving disabled? I've probably died nearly 50 times trying to beat the first level. I either fall into one of the many death pits or get killed by one of the monsters. This is on medium, and I'm not sure playing on easy would solve the problem.

Saving isn't disabled, only loading is in the demo. Reason being is how the restricted demo mode works. It is fully functional in the actual game which is pretty inexpensive! ;)
