So judging by the shadows here there's some guy right outside the windows with a thousand watt bulb?
Actually its the bloom effect. If it was off these would be plain old' windows.
i think he means the fact that the shadows fall on the ceiling, the wall and the floor as if the light source is right outside the windows

Its the sky bloom. Naturally its light-ish blue. It usually depends on what color the sky is.
