This is the first post from us and I would like to document our progress and the processes we go through in the development of Congo - hopefully they can help some of you in creating a game and hopefully we will learn a lot from you, hearing your thoughts, opinions and advice.
We have previously released a few games on Android and iOS, most notably The Lawless and Biker Dash! But this is our first PC game.
Congo is a Co-op survival game set in the Rainforest of the Congo, being built with Unreal Engine 4. Our distribution method is still to be decided..
The players are dumped in the jungle at night with swarms of jungle demons lurking in the darkness. Luckily for us, the demons are terrified of light, but being in the jungles of Central Africa means artificial light is a commodity that shouldn't be taken for granted. It's up to the players to scavenge weapons, ammo and fuel and live out as long as possible.
We're excited to be working with Unreal, if you haven't managed to play around with the new engine, you should because it's 101 levels of badassery.
We want to get you guys playing as soon as possible, so please watch our project to find out when this may be! And see all our updates :) In the next few weeks I will be going more into detail about some our design decisions and the principles we've developed to provide the best experience and how we've adapted our mobile game development experience into PC games!
