ChromaSphere is a full 3D action/arcade game with a hint of puzzle for Android 2.1+ devices (others to follow). Using the accelerometer/gyro of your phone or tablet, steer the chromasphere to the end of the level within the bronze, silver and gold times to win medals.
Can you beat the challenge of getting gold medals on every level?

Chromasphere is my attempt at trying to bridge the gap between casual and core gaming. What you have is the skill of hand-to-eye co-ordination in terms of the fine tilt control over the Chromasphere coupled with the game structure and a level size and duration more common in casual games.

NOTE: Current version does not feature a major gameplay element that improves the replay value of the game beyond just the ghost replay mode.

Features

  • Roll the Chromasphere using tilt controls
  • Get to the end of each level to win medals
  • Play Ghost replay mode: an easy way to improve your skills and times
  • Complete 19 3D levels with many more to come
  • Collect 4 same-colored shards to activate the Chromasphere's color
  • Moving and rotating platforms! Plus more obstacle types to come!
  • Touch-based Camera Controls: Swipe the screen left and right to move the camera. Pinch the screen in and out to zoom in and out to see more of the level around you.

Version 1.0.2910 is out now!

I had several people who weren't happy with holding the phone flat to control the ball. I was reluctant to change it at first but then I tried a new approach and it worked great.

What's in this version:
1. Calibration of tilt control added, no more holding your phone flat to play! Go to options screen to set it how you want.
2. Added messages display at top of menu.
3. Made colours on Chromasphere textures more visible.
4. Added instant colour buttons (not functional yet)

Should democracy be about giving power to a few or power to the many? I think it should empower the many. #WhatIsDemocracy?
