C&C;3: Tiberium Wars continues the original Command and Conquer's canon and plot, unlike its predecessor, Generals. Classic back story established Tiberium as a powerful energy source, but dangerous to touch. An e3 video contains a scene suggesting that Tiberium is extra terrestrial in origin. Combat will take place in different "zones" of Tiberium infection (corresponding to how much of the environment is a wasteland) between the classic C&C;enemies, the GDI and The Brotherhood of Nod. Developers have indicated that the game will be highly plot based, with a story unfolding through the campaign. The developer indicates the game’s new AI is capable of adapting to playing styles. Rushing the other player forces the computer to respond with a rapid assault, while playing it will play a cold war waiting game while the human player researches advanced technologies.
This must be the smallest mod ever made, I'm sure somebody will make use of it though. Changes GDI starts with the NOD Mobile Construction Vehicle. NOD starts with the GDI Mobile Construction Vehicle. (AI will deploy the MCV, but not build foreign tech) The splash and intro are no longer shown at startup. No event audio for NOD is present, all NOD related parameters have been replaced with those for GDI. In PlayerTemplate.INI, both factions now have... InitialUpgrades = Upgrade_GDIFaction Upgrade_NODFaction Previously, they just had their own upgrade. As it happens, I have no idea what these do. Please let me know if you figure anything out. Installation Backup the file CNC3_english_1.0.SkuDef in the TW root directory. Extract the attached files from the archive into the TW root directory. Uninstalling Reinstate the original CNC3_english_1.0.SkuDef file. Delete the Custom.BIG file from the TW root directory. Enjoy.

I like that big picture there, however why would you do this, if you want too be GDI or NOD with the opposite colours you just set them yourself... so in all this is kinda pointless, now for a tech addon I thought it would of been something like a Tech Level thing, where you have 1-10 and you choose what you want and that's all you can build up too, I LOVE infantry wars on games like this :P
Cool addon, one question, does installing this prevent you from playing online? Thanks either way.
how have you done this when everything is encoded?
Crikey, I had no idea your comments were here!
Anyways, for the record...
This is for the demo version, whether or not it works on the full retail edition is beyond me since I've never set eyes upon it, in fact I don't even think it was out at the time of this mod's release.
The demo does not allow for multiplayer, but in any case, if you use this on the full version then I am pretty sure you will either not be able to connect to other games or other players will not connect to your multiplayer setup, else a mismatch will occur.
The demo version has a "PlayerTemplate.INI" file floating around somewhere, I can't remember where, but it's basically the same as Generals/Zero Hour, although the file for this demo was actually ripped from Lord of the Rings (yet it still worked ok). Everything else was encoded so this was as much I could do without any tools to decode the main XML files (wherever they are). I don't know if PlayerTemplate is used in the full version, however.
