The new action-thriller from the award-winning team at Infinity Ward delivers the most intense and cinematic action experience ever. The single-player is generic action movie crap, relying on explosions to keep the audience entertained. I found the gameplay very uninteresting and completely lacking in innovation, and the plot is barely existent; it's just some barely intelligible, hardly explained gibberish.

The multiplayer is very unbalanced. It's got a heavy layer of RPG mechanics and item unlocks that tries to distract you from the fact that the actual gameplay isn't fun to play; "maybe it'll be fun once I unlock the next weapon/perk". (To be fair, I stopped playing it after a little more than 5 hours of play, so maybe it's actually true. Either way, it's not worth grinding through 5+ hours of being free XP for the high-level players.)

You could do a lot better than playing Call of Duty 4.
