The Machine Pistol is the fastest firing, lowest damage normal automatic weapon body. Thanks to it's rate of fire, if you manage to hit consistently it has the highest DPS of any of the automatics, but it will chew through your highly limited ammunition ammunition reserves at nearly the rate of the chainguns.
The stub barrel is highly inaccuracy and low velocity, but adds a nice damage boost. Thus, the best way to use this particular weapon is to get very close, and hold down the trigger.
Ninja Stars are slower moving than bullets, but higher damage. They don't arc like nails, however. This weapon rewards players who can track and lead targets, or who simply like to get so close they can't miss.
