A labor of love, Blockade Runner is an ever-evolving development that's currently over going a major engine overhaul (all made from scratch!) to provide a solid foundation for the game's bi-weekly builds. We've found the bi-weekly builds to be an enjoyable and healthy development cycle and are anxiously preparing the game for their return!

"When the messenger was designed it was with one clear purpose in mind - To cause the enemy as much pain as physically possible.
Armed with six Tri-Cannons, eight anti-fighter guns, a hanger for a small set of drones and a hull designed to literally tear through enemy ships, the messenger is the modern equivalent of a swiss-knife and battering ram. Using it's pure weight and fortified build to break through other ships like an unstoppable train, delivering a 'message' to the enemy as well as being used for breaking blockades, acting as shields in frontal assaults or annihilating high-priority targets.
However a messenger should never be left alone in the middle of a firefight. While it is able to rotate it's cannons and go toe-to-toe with other ships it's size it can be easily out-maneuvered on the spot, while it's limited weaponry is mostly suited to taking care of smaller pests rather than taking down other cruisers without the support of it's ramming ability. Due to their weight and design messengers must also be built in space and can never descend onto planets, less it be used as a suicidal missile to uproot and eliminate miles of land." - TheCursedJester
