Block Heroes is a first-person exploration/construction game that looks like Minecraft, but instead of building forts, you build giant controllable airships and robots. There are no limits in Block Heroes but your imagination and how hot you're willing your laptop to get.

@JoshMattingly @ryangreen8 @godatplay That Dragon, Cancer sounds really weird without the comma.

@JoshMattingly I don't know. I only discovered IndieStatik the other day. The articles are awesome, by the way. Loved the Jazzpunk one.

@mtrc @gillianmsmith @dgrey0 Yeah. That's an awkward leap. Just because it's fun to make doesn't mean it's worth reusing again.

@dgrey0 @mtrc @gillianmsmith There's something wonderful and magical about people building things "because it's cool" or "because I can"

I mean, it's totally okay if it was 24 months after launch or something. It just seems a shame to let all those awesome assets languish.

Since video game kickstarters are funded by the public, wouldn't it be nice if the art/sound was open-sourced sometime after launch?

@franklinwebber There's got to be a way to make everyone happy and not just let all that great art rot.

@franklinwebber Not the same thing at all, but I thought it was an interesting approach. I'd prefer the assets to be owned by the crowd.

@franklinwebber There was a project recently, the Ultima sequel (?), that had a dev tier where you got access to their assets for $300.

The Rigidbody Toolkit really shines for making heat-seeking missiles and keeping objects staying upright when bopped.

This is so fun!
looks awsome ! :D add space map or sky :D looks better :D
Very good so far. I have here some things I would like to see in the game (if you didn´t think otherwise):
- Something like a podest you can Place the things you are currently building on. Sometimes its hard to build something withput it flouting away or falling over.
- Multiplayer with two teams with different bases, so they can build warships (with canons?) and try to destroy each other, maybe with different durabilitys to each block. Maybe it could decrease if the ship would crash into something too?
Keep up the good work!!!
This is so cool, Minecraft with physics and machines! Well, not yet, but it has the potential to be!
