Blimp Wars is a 2D browser based multiplayer game where players are fighting in the sky in their steampunk inspired blimps. Blimp Wars features an easy to understand system allowing players to customize and upgrade their blimps using various parts they can buy with money earned from doing well in battles.

Machine 22 is happy to announce the release of the browser based game Blimp Wars.

Blimp Wars is a browser based multiplayer action game where players are fighting in the sky at the controls of steampunk blimps. It features 3 multiplayer modes (pirate hunt, conquer and towers quest) and also some solo missions allowing players to learn how everything works.

Players can customize their blimps by choosing among over 60 parts and boosters which is allowing hundreds of combinations to match the favorite strategy of each player.

Blimp customization

Blimp Wars is using the same homemade framework as Golemizer which was released in 2008.

The client is only using Javascript while the server is running on .NET code and SQL Server 2005. While Firefox is strongly recommended (for animated PNGs files and HTML 5 sound) it is also supporting Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari.
