Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...

Maybe because they're the weapons (only the smaller blobs are the projectiles). The weapons are on the "floor" in front of the character.

Maybe there should have been some actual floor (and walls) in the image.. or maybe I should start getting things ingame...

Description

So, as my more realistic looking weapons turned out a bit crappy size, I tried something more simple.

It looks quite ok size for both hands and on ground.

The projectile is maybe a bit smallish, and the weapon looks like it would be a rocket launcher, so it should have a large noticeable projectile.. It was meant to be able to fit through the opening hole at the top.

I thought the cover would move back after firing and then the projectile would move forward inside the weapon.. and the cover would move forward.. and ready to fire again. (Realistic animation could have player put the projectile into the weapon from the hole..)

Alternatively the current projectile is just some container for some "energy blast", and the energy blast could be bigger than the container.
