The Battlefield franchise enters a new era equipped with more firepower, modernized weaponry and vehicles, and a deeper infantry experience from the jungles to the beaches of Vietnam. From villages on the Ho Chi Minh Trail to the city streets of Hue wage modern warfare as the United States or North Vietnamese Army (NVA).

It makes already fun old classic PC shooter even more Epic!!!

One of my first games as a kid. This is one of the games that got me to be such a history buff today. I'd definitely give this game to my kids.

This game is not bad generally, but it's AI is.
It is very simple for modding, and I like almost all of it's mods.

great game

awesome game

awesome

This, along with BF1942 are two of the best games in the Battlefield series. Not only it's one of the few games set in the Vietnam era, you can get whatever vehicle you want and fulfill your dream of raiding a shore village with a Hue while listening to "The Ride of the Valkyries".
Also, in comparison to modern BFs,it has bots, which highly improves it's replayability, and modding tools, which gave us mods like Arsenal and Eve of Destruction. Which I recommend playing, because they make BFV just perfect.
In the bottom line, it's one of EA's best games and it surely deserves a try, even if it's dated.

Is a Battlefied so fun is garanted.
But this is a Battlefield than...well have few factions (logically) comparated with BF1942, so you listen the same sample voices in the same language.
In BF1942, for me was nice listen Japanese voices when im choose Axis faction.
Very fun, but BF2 and even 1942 have more things (BF2 kick the tablet with content).
