MODIFIED BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM EXECUTABLE AND .RFA FILE/S README
WHAT IS THIS?
=> This modified files will able you to play up to 256 bots in Coop mode!
TO INSTALL:
NOTE: BACKUP THE NECESSARY FILES BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING!
=> Copy and replace BfVietnam.exe on main Battlefield Vietnam folder (i.e. C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield Vietnam/).
=> Copy and replace both menu.rfa and ai.rfa on Battlefield Vietnam's Mods/BfVietnam/Archives folder (i.e. C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield Vietnam/Mods/BfVietnam/Archives/).
=> Copy and replace game.rfa on Battlefield Vietnam's Mods/BfVietnam/Archives/BfVietnam folder (i.e. C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield Vietnam/Mods/BfVietnam/Archives/BfVietnam/).
TAKE NOTE:
=> Change the indicated drive folder if your Battlefield Vietnam was not installed on default C:/Program Files, especially if you're running on a 64-bit operating system.
=> For other Battlefield Vietnam mod/s of your choice, you have to edit the game.rfa (Found in Mods/"modname"/Archives/BfVietnam folder) using WinRFA, select AIdefault.con, find "aiSettings.setMaxNBots" and change the value from 64 to 256.
=> Although Battlefield Vietnam was released in 2004 where single-core processors are dominant, make sure that your computer's CPU had enough clock speed as AI/bots consumed a lot of CPU bandwidth during gameplay. A clock speed of at least 3.2GHz or higher per core is necessary.
=> There's a possibility of Crash-to-desktop (CTD) when the number of players set to 256 in Coop mode during gameplay. REDUCE the number IF necessary.

not working with Operation Rememberance
yeah agreed,this needs an update with operation rememberance
Operation Remembrance itself should directly support this in the next update. It's on my list of things to do.
Just to be clear for anyone who wonders why this isn't working with a particular mod, it's because the patch relies on edits to a file that exists in all mods, which means that the mod itself has to be edited to allow it. It's not possible to make a single patch to increase the player count that automatically works on all mods.
