This week I worked on the fourth "mission" - a dangerous raid into a goblin camp.

So this week I worked on the fourth mission - the camp raid.

The island the player character arrives at is mostly composed of a large goblin raiding camp. The general shape of the camp is fixed, but the contents are procedurally generated.

The enemy generation isn't done yet - but the main entrance is going to be well-guarded, but there's a breach in the wall which you can use to sneak in.

Once inside, the three items of particular interest are going to be the stack of supplies, and the big boss camp in the middle.

This is a semi-stealth mission - where you don't have to kill everything. What you must do, however, is set the supplies on fire, and kill the goblin camp leader.

Of particular interest to this mission, is a new enemy type - the sentry. They can be recognised by their blue clothing and the fact that they're armed with a horn. So what happens when you get too close to them?

I'll talk more about the mission in more detail next week when more of it is done - but suffice to say, that unless you want to get into a much larger fight than you need to - avoiding the sentries are your best bet.

So that about wraps it up for this week. Next week I'll finish off the actual mission.
