Hey guys, agrobeaver here and i wanted to let everyone know that i'm starting a youtube channel specifically designed to show people little known games that i've found cool. i want to support our indie community and get people out there.

So first things first i don't know if this is the right section for this but i figure hey, i wanna support you guys so.
if its not the right section let me know and i'll move the post :D

steps to getting your game on my channel(its completely free)

1: Have a game you (or your group) has either finished or has a playable section on for me to showcase.
If it costs money on here i won't be able to showcase it because at the moment i am broke. so thats that (unless you wanna give me a copy of a free demo or whatever)
2: Message me here or @ youtube.com/agrobeaver and let me know about your game.
3: Because no one will see it unless i have subs, all i'm asking is for a sub from you guys (if you like my style) and for a video post or something on your games profile on here, cause what better way to show people your game then to have someone who wasn't involved at all give their first impressions of it!

thanks for reading this post and i hope i can help you guys out sometime.

Hold up lemme ask a question.

You want indie developers to give you their games for free and sub?

Follow up question: Wouldn't it be better to find free games/games you already own and play those first to build a portfolio? Like perhaps some unity games? These people do work hard to make their games, whenever I ask to play their games I always shoot them an email. Also posting a title in all caps isn't nice.

So to sum it all up Caps, don't ask for subs, don't blanket ask for games, and more videos.

Okay bye.

i wasn't asking people at all for their games. i was letting them know that if they wanted me to show the game off and the game costs money, i wouldn't be able to do it. so the only way they'd be able to show it on my channel was to let me play a free build of it, it didn't have to be the full game at all just something i can record and post.

Second, i think its completely fair that if someone wants their game show cased that they sub to my channel and i even put in parentheses that they could sub if they liked my style. so you obviously didn't read anything except a few sentences. and i have found a few cool games i'm showing on my channel. i was just letting people know that i'm out there. that is the only reason for this post.

Normally I would think it's a good way to get publicity but your channel has 2 subscriptions. You can't really expect someone to give you their commercial game for free until you have good subscription base (10k+ preferred) so you can actually make you playing the game an advertisement.

thats how i feel too, thats why its mostly just for people whos games are free. but i figured i'd put myself out there in case someone wanted to get something posted. and to let people know there is a channel like this. i just recently started my channel so you can't expect too much from me yet.
