Whos a CSS gun? Thread

Ok guys I've designed this site in photoshop and now I am looking to create it using 100% CSS. Unfortunatly all my attempts have failed miserably. So if you want a challenge try creating this layout for me

In return, i'll allow you to be the first to register and test the code on this site! BTW picura is an online digital photo hosting site i am creating presently

What layout? I see none unless you mean that beach...

All css? No tables at all?

Nah no tables. I've created the site using tables, thats no problem for me. Its using CSS that i want. As for how the site looks, here is a screenshot of the about page

yay another simple looking site like jacksons so wierd moving thing and very easy on the eyes intense is a tru genius

I was doing it spec's way, I guess I'll try again with divs and margin distances.

I've done a tad, about 40 to 60% maybe including fixing some bugs, I'll go to sleep and if no ones done it in the morning Ill finish it then.

That looks pretty cool, INtense. It's good to see you're branching off and trying different projects, despite Moddb being one hell of a site to manage. Can't wait to see the end results, since I don't know CSS

I do remember a few years ago, always needing hosting n stuff for pics

But it's a good way to host your pictures in your own gallery. Not to mention, INtense sounds like he's really gunning to have this project completed

INtense, on the one I posted all I used where div's with their position defined in the css classes.

Oh wait, why don't you learn CSS, INtense? You've learned so much already that CSS shouldn't be that much of a hassle. Plus, you'd be able to make all of your websites without having to ask someone else to ^_^

Maybe he feels he should let someone else in on the website?

Instead of lonely slaving away at his websites , work with someone?

Or maybe he just really CANNOT be arsed learning CSS

Jackson is a CSS legend, i showed him my acronym database design and he came back about 5 mins later with a css version (slightly modified) and it looked great

But since INtense is in close ties, he should definitely hire him

I showed jackson CaseRate and in like 3 minutes he noticed an exploit, bam, my case gets replaced with something like dtd got owned.

yeah!, the moddb towers was CSS

I am actually trying to learn CSS however I am really struggling with the positioning of things and the different ways to achieve the same thing

i.e. relative positioning, floating things, fixed etc.. etc.. is confusing me because its just not doing what i want!
