Which is the best HL1 Single-Player Mod? Thread

Im looking for a good single-player Half-Life 1 mod, since my hl2 is at my cousin;s house, who lives 12 hours away. Could someone point me to what they think is the best Half-Life SINGLE-PLAYER mod? Has to be released. Release standalone games work well too. Thanks!

They Hunger is the best single-player mod for Half-Life that I've personally played. It was an awesome mod

The Specialists
They Hunger
Zombie Panic
Day of Defeat
Poke 464 or whatever that was
Hearts of Evil
HL:Invasion was alright if you look past the fact it's in French....

Just look around, you'll find one if not several that are to your liking.

Does "The Specialists" have a single player mode? I thought it was only multiplayer...

in console you type "add bot" or whatever.

if you consider q3 bot-matches SP, then TS is too.

i suggest Poke 646, it's the best i've played.

otherwise there is a close second, this one.

i cant be arsed to link directly, but check it out, you wont be dissapointed.

Poke 646 was great. There was also one called Mission Failed that wasn't half bad, didnt add much, but it was fun for what it was.

I do not regard botmatches as single-player.

I'd have to place my money with USS Darkstar. Awesome level design there.

best single player mods:

- Poke646: greate storyline, great textures (read the homepage then you know why) and funny weapons. overall very nice balanced.

- Todesangst/T2DEF: first version was rather short but nicely done. the second part continued that great work by adding more length and the lovely throwing hatchet. if you ever wanted to know how gordon talks... here's the chance to see it
