When I watch a mod.... Thread

When i watch a mod, what does it mean?? Do I get emails or something?? If I do, when do they come???

updates appear on your Mod Watch giving short details about what has been done, who did it, and when it was done.

As Hate|3reed said, when a mod updates its profile in anyway (news, new pictures, a change to the profile), they are logged into your modwatch. Your modwatch can be viewed when you log into modDB.

Yes, whether they be News Posts, Profile Updates, pictures added to their Image Gallery, etc.

Basically, you get a front-row look at what's actually happening to the mod's profile. Very handy if you want to keep up to date with what's going on with the mod.

Because you don't. If you watch a thread, that too will be in your controll bar, it will tell you "1tw" which means 1 thread watch, moddb does not beleive in spamming you with forum emails also, in advance, you do not get emails about PMs either.

For most forums it's ok. But most forums also arn't near as active as moddb.

Yeah, hundreds of posts a day, tens of threads= lots of emails.

and the idea of them being on your moddb bar at the top

is so you will keep coming back to the site to check if their are any mod updates on the mods you have watched or replies on the threads you have watched
