Have you finished a project with UDK yet? That's more important. -- "lets say Portal is a puzzle game, so its a rehash of Tetris" |

I'd say stick with one you love working with. Unless you're doing this just for a learning experience. There's people still working with Quake 2 or 3 that learn new things about it. -- Go play some Quake 2: q2server.fuzzylogicinc.com |

i agree with all of you, mastering Unreal takes years to master. The only thing is if i am going to get a job in a company, they might not use UDK, hence i should know how to move to a different engine. -- thank you any questions please ask |

id made a statement that most people they hire don't know GTKRadient or the SDK's on their games. Obviously it didn't stop them from being hired. I'd say don't worry about that, just do awesome work. -- Go play some Quake 2: q2server.fuzzylogicinc.com |

But you should also be a master of your preferred skills. Don't be a wanderer passing by for a few days and then moving on the the next village aimlessly. That person simply explores; he/she never learns. Edited by: yarow12 -- Xfire|-|YouTube|-|Steam|-|Wedding Song|-|The Rules |

I went a head a looked at your work that you have done with UDK on your profile, and can easily say that you are not skilled enough to pass off as someone who can produce a top quality level with UDK yet. I know this may be mean but I have been working with the Unreal engine for about 4 years and I am still learning new things and better ways to do it. Your levels lack the kind of detail that is needed for any kind of above average design. I suggest you focus on your skills with an engine that you are familiar with. I am sorry for being the one to be hard with you but you were not taking the advise of the other posters. You are still young, as I am, you have time so for now I would say focus. --
