For three years now, mod teams and mod makers have had a place to show off and share their work with the world at ModDB.com. But where did the individual map makers, modellers, sound artists, animaters go? They went with specific game sites and never found a real place to pimp their wares. Now... this is all about to change!

Giving gamers the power to customize their games is becoming a more and more lucrative prospect for players, developers and publishers. Variety is the 'spice of life' and with increasing game complexity driving production costs up - sequels and movie adaptations seem to be the only titles reaching the shelves. In a market where anything but a sure thing is a risk, game addons have emerged and are satisfying all gamers drive to customize their game, their way.

Addons can be weird, they can be whacky, they can be anything their creator wants them to be and Addon DB is here to showcase them all. It is a simple principle which Addon DB wishes to embody and that is: "play games your way".
