...dl 'Red Orchestra' but haven't been able to find anywhere.

TIA

Aug 21 2004 Anchor

This doesn't even belong here. It belongs on the bottom forum, you twit >.<

Redorchestramod.gameservers.net

EDIT: It would've been a great idea if you thought of checking the main site, because usually, you can find it there :P

Okay Dragonlord, that was totally uncalled for, and stepped over the line. Try to be friendlier in the future.

Thanks Frosty.

This is my first time on this forum or to do with anything related to Ureal.

I kinda stumbled here by mistake after being unable to find where to dl Red Orchestra & thought i'd ask.

Thanks to Karuto for the link & to Dragonlord too for taking the time to straighten me out.

Don't thank Dragonlord. He's calling you an idiot to cover up his own idiocy :P

D'ya think it worked?

BTW, am about to go out to purchase UT2 just so i can stick the mod right over it without even checking it out unmodded.

I've seen a couple of scrennies & heard good things about RO & what with DoD being quite dead am in need of a good WWII shooter.

I heard that this fits the bill.

Aug 21 2004 Anchor

DoD isn't dead. They're working on the Source version, which is more or less going to kick most new WW2 games' asses, including Call of Duty :P

Ah, that's good news. I never got into CoD on account of the postage stamp size maps.

DoD is by far the better of the two, imho, but it seemed to lose an awful lot of players once CoD was released.

RO seems to have the same kind of gritty look that DoD enjoyed & i hope it performs even better than DoD did for me.

Thanks for getting on the right track Karuto.

Well thanks for setting me straight Dragonlord.

Wiothout dudes such as yourself we'd all be wondering around without a clue.

Good to meet such a vocal member of this community willing to share.

Seriously, I don't think he meant any good will at all ;)

People have a bias against dragonlord because he's not an exclusive Windows user.

He's a great guy, really.

I just thought Dragonlord handled it wrong, and didn't need to say anything.

It had nothing to do with him not being a Windows user :P

"wow, i thought i knew what rediculous was until this day" ~ strong bad in email: army

seriously, what dragonlord said was no different than karuto's 'twit' and dragonlord only said it to go along with 'the crowd' which wouldn't make him a 'bad guy' but does not necicarily mean that he isn't.
this view is established by personal preference; some would say that dragonlord is a 'bad guy' because he doesn't use windows. me on the other hand would say that he's more of a 'good guy' because if he isn't using windows there's no way he's using IE, unless he's using WINE to run IE wich I'm not certain is possible, but if it is, and he was running it, it would make him a complete moron and thus a 'bad guy.' But running IE by itself would not make him a 'bad guy'.... ok i think thats enough, i got a laugh out of it. :D

Just because someone has talent, doesn't mean they're great. Derek Smart has talent, but he certainly isn't a great guy. Anyway, I think it's safe to drop the topic now.

Ok, was it just me, or did anyone understand anything yalldropdead was saying?

This thread is turning into a flamewar, so someone please just lock it.

No, it just lost its purpose. Krull's question was answered, so there's no point in this thread being around anymore.
