Hello there, I've been using Valve Hammer Editor for quite a while now and I wan't to ask a simple question: How should I add a Half-Life weapon? I can't find my Half Life Game data file (.fgd), so I used Counter Strike's one, but I can only add Counter Strike's weapons that way.

When you start up Source SDK you have to choose the correct engine and game, to do this click the white arrow to show a drop down menu that should display every game that you have installed for that specific engine.

Once you choose the game that you want you will be able to select the assets to those games.
Once you have Half-Life 2 selected just double click Hammer and it will open.
If you still need help adding weapons to a map I believe there is a simple over view of assets for Hammer found here:

Thanks for your post, but I'm talking about the retail version of Half-Life 1.

Your post is vague so I'm not sure what exactly you're meaning, but If you're talking about importing a Half-Life 1 weapon into another game (Counter-Strike? Half-Life 2?) then that's actually illegal, and I would NOT recommend trying to do it.

If you are trying to mod Half-Life 1 with Source SDK Hammer, it wont work.

Not sure if you can speak Spanish but I found another tutorial on lighting in 3.4.
Even if you cant understand him you should try to follow along, you might get how to do it.

Are you sure there's some entities like prop_****? If so, I'd tell you that you are using a wrong fgd! There's no prop entities in the fgd of cs1.6! I guess it's Counter Strike:Source's fgd that you are using, so change one. Don't ask me where to find...
Also, if you wanna make a wad file for cs1.6, you'd better download a software called Wally. Well I don't know where to get it, I have a Developer's Pack for cs1.6 map making, and tools you need are all in there. But I don't know how to share it, so no link...
