That’s not all. After heavy discussions, we have decided that implementing a class system for our Objective Match gametype would be the best way of improving gameplay. This system is currently in development, with a first version up and running. Currently we have scout, trooper, medic and engineer classes. Each class will be supplied with unique equipment. The electro binoculars for the scout class and the healing equipment for the medics are already implemented. Along with the addition of medics comes a new state for players. Players that are shot down by a low damage hit will get incapacitated, rather than killed. Incapacitated players lie helpless on the floor until a medic comes along to bring them back on their feet. An incapacitated player can also choose to give up his body at any time to join the players in the configurable respawn queue.
