There's also another one that I can't wait to come out ;-)
It's called Sang-froid (sangfroidgame (dot) com/greenlight . It's an action/strategy game set in 1858, lumberjacks VS werewolves...   You can check the gameplay trailer directly on greenlight!

Some of these look really promising (I hope one day my game reaches a list like this).. The Castle Story one reminds me of a really crude PSX (PS1) Yaroze game called 'Adventure Game' with a really irritatingly catchy songs and more irritatingly sarcastic NPCs. :nervous:

You know who's not got Facebook or Twitter? This guy.

Rank 119 -- only 118 more to go to reach the end bossfight...

Disclaimer -- the following below is NOT sarcasm:

Play Spec Ops: The Line. No, seriously, play it. NOW! It's probably still on sale on Amazon for crying out loud! I wish more games had balls like this game does, paired with some of the best writing, mechanics, and level design that's been seen this side of linear shooters.

1. Minecraft
2. Castle Story (not out yet)
3. Prison Architect (Currently in Alpha, starting price $30)
4. Stranded
5. King Arthur's Gold
6. Blockland (That is a indie game, right?)

And thats about all I can think of, enjoy!

I can only give 3 off the top of head:

1: Cave Story
2: The White Chamber
3: Iconoclasts.

First two are freeware. Third has freeware alpha version.

Is there any point in public debate in a society where hardly anyone has been taught how to think, while millions have been taught what to think?

Ones that I would still buy after playing/buying them (and not be "meh" because there's not really that fun):
Steel Storm: BR
the two games by COR before Alien Arena.
VVVVVV (just because I loved my C64)
Crayon Physics Deluxe

Go play some Quake 2:
It's like Source v0.9, only... better!
