"I'd like to extend a huge thank-you to Prime Suspect for all of his hard work on the official "The Trenches" video trailer. After hours of editing, recording, and redoing entire segments of videos, we're proud to present this glimpse at "The Trenches".

The quality is less than it could have been in the interest of size, yet we could not compress the movie any more without losing an unacceptable amount of quality. The movie is about 6 minutes and 50 MB. "

That was one awesome video. I enjoyed how you kind of replayed it in black and white.

However, I'm pretty sure not every scene in World War I was dirt, dirt, dirt. I may have been wrong, but there's a hell of a lot of dirt in that game. lol

The Trenches The game seems to be about trench warfare a little.

uhm, The video was pretty good, I watched it as soon as it came out on FragFiles. It was edited well, and it showed off the game well, I just wish there was a bit more fighting in it, there was almost no action at 1st.

Whats the release date for the mod? still TBA?

I'm sorry to say this, but I am really not impressed. Your models are excellent, but your maps need work. They are all too similar with big open spaces and little detail. The gameplay looks very boring, (run in a big space and shoot.) your GFX and models are impressive like I said, but your maps make the mod and need some work.

dude that looks so good... that like almost pwns DoD (pre-bought by Vavlve) and that was awesome to take the time to make a trailor... the trailor was pretty crazy too. What programs did you use to make it?

Well, they certainly used FRAPS to record it, but I think Hatel3reed was asking about the programs they used to edit the recorded video

man that game looks awsome. I like the grenade throwing, very realistic, and bullets in the hud.

Hey thanks man! I used fraps to record it and then i used windows movie maker 2. U can get it off the microsoft site

wow... thats pretty good for windos movie maker... very nice work. I take any mods that arent vietnam, wwII, or anime styled with open arms.

you guys should be very pleased with yourselfs on how it is coming. My brother said to me we are geting The Trenches when it comes out. That is very impressive. my brother hates when I download mods Because "the waste space on are hard drive."(He makes such a big deal that we only have 10 gigs left.) He has only downloaded one other mod since we got are current computer.(It was svencoop) So be very proud of what you achived.

He made a VERY smart decision! Im thinking this mod will be out in 2 weeks or so

Still working on that last "1%"?

Sounds something like how 80% of the users use 20% of the features, the last 1% takes 99% of the time. That works out to be true in my mind for many good mods, games, etc, anything really. That last bit of perfection will always make you the most picky even though your ready to kick the thing out the door.

So its really perfectly fine that last 1% is taking a while, its only a number anyway.

It would be cool if you could add AI characteres to the battlefeild. like every body gets 5 squad mates. this way there could be massive charges. so if only 3 humans charge there would be 18 guys charging all together. To bad it is imposable to implament
