The Hunted's 3rd istallment will have you play as an officer who's cruiser careened into the pits of Harchid, a city who's had it's worst heatwave since the late 30's. As an officer you'll come in contact with some of the indigenous peoples of the lower levels of Harchid and some of the opposition trying to make sure you never leave.

Also on a side note:

I'm looking for someone interested in modeling map objects or smaller things like trash cans, tires, etc. or some of the new monsters. don't worry about it getting released because it will like the previous 2, but with more help comes more detail and a much more polished off final product.

How many installments of this mod are there? Any plans on just slapping them all together and releasing some extra goodies or something?

Looks great so far. It appears you used a light blooming effect, which is perfect. :)

Hope you plan on porting to other engines in the future.

The idea was seperate "Chronicles" but i think thats a good idea to kind of interconnect them together. make for a much longer game.

Well anyways I'm nearly completed map 3 of at least 20. things are going smoothly but I'm really looking for a skinner or a modeler.

  • Completly recreated zombie and zombie code. Much more "realistic" in attack, range, and response time.
  • Added random skin generator so zombies will be wearing different attire no matter how many times you play a map
  • Added "Use" key, used to pick up boxes and move them to get to previously unattainable areas
  • Added "story driven comics" used to help further the story and gives hints on puzzles
  • New Shotgun model
  • fully functionable "secondary attack" (zoom with Merc's Gun, large swing with meathook)
  • Added zombie footsteps
  • FIXED**bug where zombies faking dead on ground would still block a player's way
  • FIXED**HUD/glock-pistol ammo malfunctions
  • Added place_model attributes to have spatialization options and other effects to create global audio ambience and better effects using DarkPlaces extensions
