Okay, straight to the point...
I have this problem when ever i am trying to compile the textures i have submited to my 3d model in XSI mod Tool into tga.
You see i get these lines in the compiled versio, and I really don't know whats wrong.
Anyone knows whats wrong, i am using the neosis tutorial for refference.

There may be a mix up in terminology / language barrier. I'm going to take a stab in the dark and replace compile with rendermapping / texture baking (the actual compiling would begin when you want to convert the image from tga).

I haven't seen the Neosis tutorial, but I think at one point they apply several different textures to the model, and then attempt to bake them into a single image. This works fine with normal versions of Softimage, but the older version of Modtool had several limits put onto its Rendermap tool, and it's software renderer (MentalRay) was 98% gutted. Trying to bake any kind of map would produce diagonal lines on your texture such as this:

And there was no fix. The good news is that this doesn't exist in Modtool 7.5, and the cap on Rendermap has been raised to 2048x2048.
