StatLife - Personal Stats for HL + mods Thread

I'm posting to see if there is an interest for a personal statistics program for Half-Life 1 and mods (DoD, CS, NS, PVK, VS ...). I have an initial version that can record games of DoD to a database and then summarize the data. So far I've only listed the total kills, deaths, kills:deaths ratio, longest killing streak and longest dieing streak.

I want it to be able to show many graphs like kills vs time, deaths vs time, kills:deaths vs time, kills on X map over time, kills with X weapon vs time, kills during the last 2 weeks vs time etc... I am also thinking of features that might allow clans to analyze how all of their members play on certain maps/with certain classes.

There are still a few things I want to work out before I make an official release, like name changes. Will people that still play HL1 mods want a program that does this? And more importantly, will I make money!? j/k

that would be cool, but I think most people would much rather have it for HL2.

Yeah, I'll look into it, I was hoping I'd be able to use the same method to gather statistics, but I'm not sure.

Well, it would be cool for many games - but HL currently has more mods than pretty much anything else, and HL2 mods aren't really picking up yet - there aren't so many. Maybe work on a HL2 version after the HL one?

I just took a look at HL2 and it would require some more work. Maybe after the HL version.

Well, I haven't set any alarms yet. How does an alarm go off, would I have come across one yet? I was playing DoD last night with this on for about 2 hours and have been testing for quite some time on and off.

All tests are working well so far. I am able to filter weapons now, so it will show you how well/poorly you do with a particular gun or gun set. It will be easy to do the same for maps and date ranges/game ranges.

And btw, my Kar and I are best friends. 1.6 ratio with over 500 kills and a kill streak of 15, : D
