Special Soldiers - An Anti-War Modification Thread

Story:
In the year 2056, soldiers who've been crippled in war aren't put away in nursing homes. Instead, their governments send them to a combat arena on the moon, where they can fight against other military invalids.
Who knows, maybe they'll even get a chance to kill someone from the nation that made them a cripple.

Engine:
Any engine that supports detachable limbs.

Features:

• Handicaps

There are mods, such as Firearms, where you can select skills and abilities for your character.
SpecSol, on the other hand, gives each player a number of disability points. You can use them to buy disabilities, such as missing limbs, and you must spend them all.

• Nationalities

Before you start playing, you must choose your nationality.
There can only be one player per nationality.
It will determine what your character looks like, e.g. Germans are tall, blond and blue-eyed, while Koreans are small, black-haired and slant-eyed.
Players also have their nation's flag on the back of their uniforms.

• Male and Female Models

So gamerrr gurrrls won't feel discriminated against.

• Gruesome Deaths

With lots of screaming.

• Voice Taunts

So you can make fun of your opponent's disabilities.

• Mercenary Bots

AI-controlled mercenaries who wander the maps, making the players' lives difficult.
Mercenaries are honorless scum, so killing them will be rewarded.

Handicaps:

• Missing Eye

If a player loses their left eye, the left half of their screen gets blacked out. Losing both eyes is a bad idea, unless you have a beeper (see below).

• Missing Arm

If you lose an arm, you can't use two-handed weapons, such as assault rifles.
If you lose your right arm, your accuracy is greatly reduced, because all soldiers are right-handed.

• Missing Leg

If you lose a leg, you can't walk anymore. You have to hop.
Players who fire while hopping suffer greatly reduced accuracy.
Players with no legs can crawl, but you can't fire and crawl at the same time. Crawling is just like being prone in other mods.

Weapons and Powerups:

• Fusion-Powered Wheelchair
• Assault Crutches

They help one-legged people walk, but you must be standing still to fire them.

• Grenades

Sometimes they explode prematurely, taking off half your arm.

• Jetpacks

For people without legs.

• Head-Mounted Missile Launchers

For people without arms.

• Suicide Belts

Triggered via neural links, so people without arms can use them.

• Anti-Personnel Mines

For blowing off other people's legs.

• Beepers

These devices help you detect the nearest enemy.
They beep more loudly as you turn to face him, and more frequently as you get closer.
Great for people who've lost both eyes.

• Walkers with Mounted Weapons

I have no intention of making this mod, it's just an idea that I wanted to get off my chest.

This is a joke, right? Like, as in ha ha funny, right?
Cause that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, whether you have an intention of making it or not.

nah it is pretty politically correct cause you never see people in wheelchairs in games (ok there are a few exceptions). so its giving the disabled their spotlight in the gaming world.
