Hi all!

My name's Martin, I'm an avid gamer and talented sound designer and I'm looking to get some mod-based work. I'm currently 2/3 of the way through a degree in Music Tech so I know my stuff. I'm most familiar with the editing tools in Source so that'd probably be my preferred type of mod. Considering any and all work, be it location recording, impulse capture, sound effects capture, original composition etc. I've done work with animators and have recorded and composed a heavy number of songs and musical pieces. I also have my own blog in which I sample, code and sell software instruments for NI Kontakt. To have a look at that you'll have to type this into your address bar: [audiolung.blogspot.com] because I haven't been registered for more than 7 days and am not allowed to provide links

Any questions, go right ahead! Hope to hear from some of you very soon!

I haven't got huge libraries up my sleeve just yet, that's what I'm hoping to build here. What I do have for you is a small library of stuff I made with a sci-fi game in mind, a game similar to HL-2 or Borderlands. I'd love to put a link to that here but it won't let me, if you (or anyone) would like to have a listen please PM me your email address :). It contains a small bank of effects containing concepts of sliding electronic door sounds, lazer/weapon sounds, possible UI sounds etc, as well as three musical tracks, two that would be well suited to combat, and one far more mellow and ambient track that could be used over cutscenes or credits and that sort of thing. I have my own recording setup at home and 24/h access to a professional grade studio at University for taking real-world samples, something which I enjoy and am excited to do more of. The content of the samples is mostly done using the Bruno-6 soft synth which I sell on my blog and XLN Audio's 'Addictive Drums'.

Just remembered I could write down a URL!
