Ok, we need some help but first I will post a shortened version of the story, for those of you who don't have time to check the full one out on the site.

You are Sorrel von Schrover, crown price of Jarvessia, your father has been killed, your goverment torn down and you and your mother have been put to work in factories. Origionally the people welcomed the Nabouhrists, but then they showed their true colours and the country has been turned into a living hell. 10 years after the revelution and new revelutionary group called the Kaiser Reborn that wishes to restore the monarchy cantacts you, and after some time you decide to go with them. After a year of training with the best, what remains of your fathers Imperial Guard, who now call themselves Special Forces, everything is in place, and you begin your jurney to reclaim the throne of Jarvessia.

In single player you will be in charge of a four man special forces unit including yourself. Among your team mates is a Lyern (Lie-ren) who is yet to be named (I have named him but you know hat I mean). The Lyrens are migice users, and are very much a different race, though at a glance they look just like Humans, the live twice as long as the average human and age half as much. In addition their eyesare different, some say they have seen them glow at times.

The missions will range any where from placing explosives to sabotage factories, to capturing enemies for questioning to leading a break through in the front lines. and you will fight a large arrey of enemies ranging from Supperssion squads to front line soldiers to factory gards to interrigators to conscripts and alot more.

There will be alot of weapons, so far we have decided on these:

Kaiser Reborn: Bolt action Rifle, Sub machine gun, Assault rifle, sniper rifle, and an array of close combat weapons (see site for more)

Naboughrists: Semi-Auto rifle, sub machne gun, Assault rifle, shock batton&riot shield and an arrey of other weapons (see site for more)

As for multie player, You will be able to choose from an arrey of clases on wither team, including (for Kaiser reborn) Special Forces, standard troopers, and officers, in additon ther are (for the Nabouhrists) Suppression squads Regualr troopers officers and conscripts.

There will be limets on weapons, each team may only have one half as many sub-machine guns as rifles, one quarter as many Assault rifles, and one fifth as many specialised weapons (eg. shock batton&riot shield, snpier rifle)

What we need:
Two modellers
Two skiiners
One coder(that can code for hl2)
One animator
One-Two texture artists
Two mappers
A PR
A webmaster
One sound technition

Soudns good, but what are you offering to the team? Can you map? model? skin?

I did not know I had to say, but I can model , I am working on a sword right now... well, I would be done if my comp didn't get a virous, so now every ten to twenty minutes windows explorer crashes but yeah, I can model, I guess I have to list that from now on.

Well it is nice to show people that you are willing to put forth the effort and give some to the team instead of just give orders and tell everyone what to do. It is easier for someone to relate with you if you are willing to work with them.

How did you get the feel that I did not want to do anything? Did Cheap alert put you up to this? Or did he tell you that I can't do anything? I mean, I have seen other guy's threads and they are basiclly like this one, they did not say "Oh, and I can model, skin, and map and code" or what ever. And I have plenty dedication, I have been doing this since Febuary dammit!!! (granted I only got the site working last month, which I am told sucks any way)

I was asking if you could do anything... people like to see that a mod leader can actually do somethign I asked if you can find anywhere where I said you couldn't do anything please quote it. Stop being a moron kthx.

Can a mod delete all the posts but the first one? They are not really neccisary.

Is it just me, or can anyone actually pay attention to this story? I'm sorry, Wilhelm, but your story just doesn't interest a normal person. In a case of a mod like yours, they won't pay one iota of attention to your story, and would rather move onto the action.

It actually sounds sort of like Freedom Fighters with magic and royalty

No, it's a full blown civil war, did you read the story on the site, it is much learer. And what do you mean not interested in the story, rather move to the action? There will be plenty action, and story thrown in. I am also going to include FMVs between missions, which will hopfully dazzle people into paying attention to the story. And there will be action a plenty. I mean your posts confuses me, could you be a bit more descriptive in your post?

I mean your story is boring. It sounds like something I'd read from an old book, and people aren't interested in reading things that aren't interesting. Maybe if everyone were these huge, giant mechs or something, then that'd be cool.

With all due respect, the story to your mod... just isn't cool. I don't know how to explain it, but it just scratches my head when I read it, and I'm in Advanced English, reading 5 college-class books a semester

This is combineing alot of stuff I read, and love, and alot of historical eras (I am kind of a [european] histrory buff) but if you're average joe-schmoe does not like it, how about this:

You are Becky McNeal, a young lawer who is in controll of her own life, and balences her personall life and her work on the edge of a knife.

Or, you are Hurishimo Cano, a young aspiring sword master, out to save his nation from the evil deamon prince KuKomari Hishitomakomari.

Or, you are a fat white father of some bratty childeren who is dumb and thus funny.

Or, you are Galendil, an Elf who sets our on a jurney to save a princess from the evil lord Gorgonthoan.

Do any of those suit you better?

They suit me better, but that doesn't mean I'll understand the story a whole lot better. lol

How did you know I was going to add some big ol' robots any way? I had kept it a scret and every thing I was going to have them look victorian style. It as turning out cool in my initial sketches. And I think I am going to be interviewed by Merritt or his site or something, so maybe that will clear some things up.
