@ embers: i thought the same, but i guess second encounters was just a sequal to the first SS. i dont know how to explain...

all i know is that SS2 is an entire new engine with physics, detail, and everything else that the videos explain (just watch them)

But hey, it still looks awesome. I can't wait to see how it will play like. I got addicted to TNE after blowing up so many monsters. I love the combos.

holy crap that game is EXTREAMLY unimpressive, I've seen better graphics from games released last year. well this goes on my do not buy list.

Because, obviosly, graphics totally make the game. Who needs that "Gameplay" shit when you can have eye candy that makes your computer run at three frames per second?

Anyone know if this is gonna be budget or not? I sure hope so, I loved Serious Sam because of that.

I did not play the first one, but this one looks to be bully :thumbsup:

oh and serious sam is KNOWN for its intense, advance and in depth game play of run, shoot, run, shoot, run, shoot.

It looks pretty cool, the anims a bit crap in places though.

You just explained most of the FPS games out there, including Doom and Half-Life.

It's about content, fool! The gameplay itself is addictive. Once you get into it and rack up those combos, it feels quite satisfying.

I find the graphics to be lush. I don't understand your view of things. If you want the most realistic graphics possible, go outside.

I never liked doom, and Halflife is far more advance then run and shoot.

I've played the first and second one, it had its moments, I just dont like how the creatures BLOW UP after being killed, they were to lazy to program rag doll or something?

I'm just not impressed with the game at all, why is that a big problem? am I supposed to be forced to like it just because you like it?

you dont even know if the new one will have the same stuff that made you dislike the 1st one. just wait for a demo. the physics and graphics are just....yum...
