sdk hammer, how do you make hills? Thread

hi im new to mapping and i enjoy it
but i was wondering is there a way to make hills in sdk hammer for a map
plz reply

To everyone asking for turorials for basic stuff in hammer - do a Google search first, check out tutorials section on moddb, take a look at Valve Developer Community and THEN ask questions on forums. You see it's really not a problem for us to answer you, but you'd get your answers a lot quicker if you used this methods - you'd allready have your own rocky-mountains in hammer. Anyways - here's one video tutorial from moddb - use the methods mentioned abowe to find out more. Good luck!

And in addition to that, heres a tutorial on displacement - a way to create things such as walls, hills, etc.
