road to Allysium swords Thread

Hey everyone,

These are swords that I am making for a Dungeon Siege mod called "Road to Allysium". For more info on the mod check out the website. allysium

If you like the game and want to help out we can always use some modellers and texture artists.

These are made with gmax and textured in photoshop, The girl model is made by Gas powered games and these shots are how they will appear in game. each sword is about 200 polys.

Wow, they are extremely deformed. lol sorry about that. How would to kill someone with them?! One looks like an anchoer/ arrow, other looks like a fishbone but the last one looks ok

did use some tutorials for this project?

I think the firts one looks most like a sword, but adding blades onto the other ones makes thm look quite odd and heavy

well I was trying to do something different or unusual, if you have ever played dungeon siege you know that they already have tons of your typical and unusual swords, so I was trying for more over the top.

that one, make it a normal broadsword, then cut spikes into it.

swords look ok, if you picture them hacking rather than stabbing. nice to see somethng a little different from the norm.

the pickaxe-like one looks like it is designed for hacking
