Hello Board,

First let me start off by saying that I am unsure that what I want to get done here is even possible but I have reason to believe it is. so let me get to what this mod is and why I think it's possible and then we'll see if you awesome folks are interested in what I want to get done.

Why: Hideo Kojima has expressed that he always wished he could do a Mad Max game and is,infact, a big fan of the franchise.

What: here is what I want to do plan and simple. I want to bring the vehicles of mad max (the movies not the game though if we can then yes those too) to Metal Gear Ground Zeros to honor the dream of Kojima by replacing the main driveable vehicles in Ground Zeros with those of Mad Max.

why I think this should be possible: People have moded the decals that are burned off the helicopters. people have moded Solid snake turning him into Kojima and even chico. people have even made the birds be that of Solid snake. yet I have not seen anyone do anything with the weapons and vehicles as of yet.

what I can do and supply: Below you'll find several photobuckets of mad max models I have mad over the years(some are high poly some low poly) and a thread on gtaforums that also expands on all the work I've been doing for the past 10 years. yes you read that right I've been doing this for 10 years. I can supply the models and that's honestly it. I an horrible at texture making and I am far from a coder or rigger.

What I need: I need someone who is good enough to know exactly how to rig these models (such as dummy placement and such) so that the cars will work ingame without too many issues. and then someone who would know how to texture or even convert texture so that the game will recognize and use the textures accordingly. we have textures from our Grand Theft Auto mods and more mods and textures will be available very soon. and I am even willing to rework some of the models to keep them within a certain polycount. I can work with the community to make this happen.

IF WE PULL THIS OFF. then I hoping we can do it in the more open world enviornment of Metal Gear the Phantom pain. where we might be able to outfit Snake in Mad max's costume (which will be taken and remade from the mad max game) and again have the vehicles from the movies work in Phantom Pain as,again a tribute to Hideo Kojima whom may never get the chance to make a mad max game.

I understand that I may be asking something that is impossible. but if we can change the character then the game should allow for vehicle modding and vehicles are a passion of mine. I hope we can work together to bring something awesome to an already awesome franchise and maybe make Kojima proud. if no one is interested then I honestly apologize for wasting everyones time but I feel I have to at least try to make this happen. so what do you say. will those of you who know this game well help me full fill a creators dream?
