Requesting previews + file fetching Thread

Hi!

On the news and downloads pages (at least) a review button would be very helpful.
Additionaly I'd like to be able to specify a download source. So I don't have to upload the file myself, but ModDB fetches it from an alternate location.
Additionaly buttons to delete things would be equally nice...
And the "PC" platform should be named "Windows" to prevent confusion... (Linux and Mac run on PCs, too...)

Did someone lately have a look at Moddb.com ?

The staff is currently being rearranged. Some people were fired, others quit, and INtense has done a great job of getting brand new talent that's doing a terrific job so far. Unshod and Stenchy are the newest staff members and so far it seems they're doing a great job. So I would say they have quite some time to build that page again.

Or we'll look like this by the time they get it done. Either way we'll be looking at the finished page.

Edit: Also making moddb fetch your file from another server is a virus/warez/trashfest waiting to happen.

modDB v3 implemented this and there was no issues

it WILL be in v4 no doubt however

Delete functionality is a Staff-only thing. As for everything else, its coming. Give it time, theres alot of stuff to do still, especially with MOTY running at the moment
