Remove self from project? Thread

I am trying to remove myself from a project that I no longer wish to be affiliated with. Apparently, this isn't possible? Or is there some bizarre incantation necessary to do so?

Go to your Control Panel, select mod, manage team, and then remove yourself.

i did this before. the new mod leader let it die. wasnt gonna be fun anyways.

Yeah, that didn't work. I had to have osmeone else login and do it.

Does removing yourself require permissions to manage the team? If not then theres another way that the permissions need to be modified
